Antrim family revealed as the face of brites 2011

A family from Antrim have been crowned the ‘brites Family’ 2011 after entering a competition to become the promotional faces of the brand’s 2011 domestic marketing campaign.

The Wilson family - Lorna (Mother), David (Father) and children Poppy (5) and Rory (3) – beat off substantial competition for the title when they submitted a simple yet touching picture of the family enjoying a tray of cupcakes accompanied by the tagline; “It might be cold outside but it’s always ‘brite’ and warm in our house!”.Wilson Family

The Wilson family have also won a year’s supply of brites wood pellets to heat their family home as well as a new Ipad to enable them to place future orders of brites online. The family will now be featured in all brites residential focused advertisements and promotional material

The exciting competition began in March of this year encouraging families throughout Ireland, who already enjoy the benefits of using brites in their home, to capture their perfect ‘brites moment’ in a photograph.

Due to the incredible response to the competition the judging panel of experts selected four runners with each family due to receive a free tonne of brites with their next delivery. Runners up included: Henry Bothwell, (Co Louth), Louise Alcorn (Co Donegal), Carl Weaver (Limerick) and Grahame Adams (Co Fermanagh).

Paula Keelagher, brites market development manager commented:  “Congratulations to the Wilson family! Our judging panel felt that the family picture exuded warmth and energy – just like brites – making them the perfect representatives for our domestic marketing campaign.”
